Techerous

My name is Bill, I am a recent graduate in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University and this is a place for me to post or give my 2 cents on the fascinating world of technology. I am now working for a pretty big technology related company whose name I will leave out just to avoid any possible complications, however far-fetched them happening may be. Music gets included from time to time as well.

Apple takes Siri for a spin with launch of CarPlay, hands-free software for drivers

techheat:

Apple has chosen the Geneva Motor Show to launch CarPlay, an in-car system for iOS …

Via ZDNet

Smart move by Apple given the open automotive alliance that formed with android. Once again I have doubts about the innovation in a closed wall system but you knew they weren’t going to wait to see the features come up with there. Maybe they’ll actually get specific car makers to partner with them as well.

Your smartphone will (eventually) be hacked

Stay aware, especially as more financial processes are completed with smartphones.  Get software that will protect you and keep an eye out on what you download/click on just like you would a PC.

Samsung Barred From U.S. Nexus Phone Sales in Apple Suit

I don’t understand how this is any more infringement than any other android device.  This better not result in the Galaxy S3 getting blocked or I’m going to be pissed.

Android Jelly Bean gets fast response, better notifications, Google Now | Mobile - CNET News

Sounds like a good update, could have some privacy concerns, but what doesn’t these days. Microsoft and Google have been really on top of their game lately, with the way the mobile market is going I think Apple is going to have to speed up their schedule because I am not seeing nearly as much excitement for them as their rivals lately.
